Der jüngste Preisanstieg der wichtigsten Industriemetalle könnte laut Analysten spekulativ getrieben sein.
Während die Nickelnachfrage im Mai um drei Prozent im Monatsvergleich auf 170.000 Tonnen zurückging, sank der Output lediglich um 1,4 Prozent auf 167.800 Tonnen.
Der Nickelpreis war zuletzt dank China sowohl nachfrageseitig als auch angebotsseitig (Minenschließung in Australien) unterstützt.
