Kurstreiber waren in der vergangenen Woche nach Meinung von Ole Hansen, Rohstoffexperte bei der Saxo Bank, ein schwacher Dollar, eine gemäßigte US-Notenbank sowie geopolitische und wetterbedingte Sorgen.
Nickel ist angesichts der Sorge, dass das indonesische Erzexportverbot das weltweite Angebot schmälert, während gleichzeitig die globale Nachfrage zunimmt, auf ein 13-Monatshoch bei 17.395 US-Dollar je Tonne geklettert.
Eine Korrektur des deutlich gestiegenen Nickelpreises erscheint den Analysten der Postbank auf absehbare Zeit wahrscheinlich. Gleichwohl könnte Nickel unter den Industriemetallen in diesem Jahr am besten abschneiden.
