Der Ausblick für Nickel für das laufende zweite Quartal ist den Analysten der UniCredit zufolge nicht gut.
Für das Basismetall Nickerl erwarten Experten weitere Produktionskürzungen und einem damit einhergehenden Rückgang der noch immer sehr hohen Lagerbestände. Damit sollten auch die Notierungen im Jahresverlauf deutlich anziehen.
Die philippinischen Nickelproduzenten haben in Reaktion auf die stark gefallenen Preise koordinierte Produktionskürzungen angekündigt.
Neue Nachrichten, die den jüngsten Preisanstieg bei Nickel erklären könnten, gab es allerdings nicht. Auf Grundlage der fundamentalen oder technischen Daten ist es nach wie vor schwierig, eine nachhaltige Erholung zu rechtfertigen.
Die meisten Metalle waren den Analysten der UniCredit zufolge zuletzt in der Lage, sich dem negativen Markteinfluss zu entziehen oder jüngste Erholungen fortzusetzen.
