Der Nasdaq 100 Afterhour Indikator ist wieder ins Plus gedreht. Aktuell steigt der Indikator um 6.2 Punkte oder 0.44% auf 1411.01 Punkte.

Grund für die ins Positive wechselnde nachbörsliche Tendenz dürfte u.a. der Inhalt der folgenden Meldung gewesen sein.

IBM: Bullische Worte nach den Q3-Zahlen

Nach den Zahlen für das abgelaufenen Q3 erläuterte die IBM-Führungsmannschaft die Aussichten auf das laufende Q4. Und dieses solle sehr freundlich aussehen, erklärte der CFO John Joyce vor kurzem: "Wir glauben, daß die aktuellen Konsensschätzungen für das Q4 absolut erreichbar sind", meinte Joyce im Hinblick auf ein "stabiles Dienstleistungsgeschäft", das man beobachten würde.

Analysten erwarten zur Zeit einen Gewinn von 1,34$/Aktie im Q4.

Joyce wies weiter darauf hin, daß zwar die aktuellen Wirtschaftsbedingungen "herausfordernd" seien und die Terrorattacken des 11.09. das Hardware-Geschäft getroffen habe, andere Geschäftsbereiche von Intel aber keine negativen Auswirkungen zeigen würden. Insbesondere das High-Server und das Softwaregeschäft seien zuletzt sehr gut verlaufen.

Joyce meinte weiter, er sei "ermutigt" von den weiteren Aussichten seines Unternehmens. Gegenüber Konkurrenten wie BEA Systems habe man zuletzt Marktanteile gewinnen können und man gehe davon aus, diesen Trend fortzuführen.

Die nachbörsliche Kursliste verfärbt sich zunehmend grün.
