Paris, November 2023 - This year's AIA Annual Convention in Paris, held on November 9th and 10th, 2023, became an unforgettable experience thanks to the impressive show performances by Jochen Schweizer Showacts. The AIA (Asia Insurance Alliance) is a leading market provider in the insurance sector and annually gathers its top distributors from around the world for its annual convention. This event is always accompanied by a week-long incentive trip, exploring the most beautiful cities worldwide. This time, Paris was on the itinerary.
The kick-off on November 9th was an exclusive gala dinner in the magnificent hall of Le Grand Hotels (Interconti), dedicated to the top 300 sellers of AIA. Guests appeared in elegant gowns and tuxedos, and each was handed a stylish mask reminiscent of royal masquerade balls from past eras. The already magical atmosphere was perfectly complemented by the imaginative performances of Jochen Schweizer Showacts. Particularly impressive was the "Phantom of the Opera" as a captivating duet, which seemed tailor-made for this setting. A talented violinist accompanied guests from the reception, later captivating them with her electric violin in the world of pop-classic and LED light effects, giving the entire event a modern and exciting touch. The evening became an unforgettable blend of elegance, nostalgia, and contemporary fascination.
On November 10th, the second gala evening for all 1500 invited sellers was on the agenda, this time staged at the Villepinte exhibition hall. The hall was entirely themed around Paris and presented a fascinating mockup of the Eiffel Tower. Jochen Schweizer Showacts once again delighted with an LED light show featuring 5 performers, supported by dynamic animations on a 25x5 meter projection surface. The stunning display of light and dynamics was immediately followed by a captivating Moulin Rouge show with an ensemble of 4 women and 2 men, transporting the audience into the vibrant world of Parisian nightlife.
Another highlight was the themed fashion show titled "From Paris to Milan." The connection between a fashion show and Paris is already a successful combination, but the idea of creating a perfect bridge and providing a taste of the upcoming year 2025 – with Milan as the ultimate destination and radiant capital of fashion – was even more impressive. "To prepare, we had three experienced fashion designers from Munich on board, including fashion professor Prof. Arnold Gevers from AMD (Academy of Fashion & Design Munich). They supported us both in designing the outfits in advance and during the on-site runthrough," reported Felix, project manager at Jochen Schweizer Showacts. This allowed event guests to experience their own fashion show in Paris, presented with a unique collection ranging from simple elegance a la Chanel (Paris) to colorful casualness a la Gucci (Milan), staged with professional dance models.
As part of the AIA Annual Convention, Jochen Schweizer Showacts provided cultural highlights and a perfect realization of the Paris theme. This event, and especially Paris, will undoubtedly remain in the memories of the participants.
