Leading independent impact verifier BlueMark again attests excellence in impact management practices across all of Finance in Motion’s funds
Frankfurt, 06 June 2023 – Finance in Motion, founded in 2009 and today one of the world’s leading impact asset managers (AUA/AUM: EUR 3.2bn/USD 3.4bn), has been designated for the second consecutive year as a Practice Leader by BlueMark, the recognized provider of independent impact verification services for investors and companies, and top verifier by assets covered (over EUR 196/USD 209bn).
Finance in Motion, which focuses on the themes of the green economy, climate finance, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion in global emerging markets, is one of only 10 impact investors to be named Practice Leader, from a total of 75 impact investors verified. BlueMark’s recognition underscores of Finance in Motion’s rigorous impact management across all of themes and funds as well as the advancement of best practices in the industry.
In its latest report, Making the Mark, BlueMark again benchmarks the impact management practices of leading impact investors in strict accordance with the industry’s Operating Principles of Impact Management. To qualify for the BlueMark Practice Leaderboard, investors must have been verified within the last two years and achieve top quartile ratings for every impact principle in the BlueMark Practice Benchmark. Finance in Motion appears on the leaderboard now for the second year running. Notably, the audit covered all funds Finance in Motion managed and advised at the time of verification. Accordingly, the results confirm the strong impact management practices across those funds.
“We are thrilled to be included in the BlueMark Practice Leaderboard for excellence in impact management for the second time in a row. More importantly, it shows the community that we are carefully and consistently managing and measuring our impact according to best practice across all our funds. With a sound impact management system developed over more than a decade, along with the will and ability to keep improving on it, we look forward to keeping the bar high,” said Finance in Motion Managing Director Sylvia Wisniwski.
