Veränderungen in der Geschäftsleitung der Orascom Development

Altdorf/Kairo, 22. April 2013 - Der momentane Chief Operating Officer (COO) der Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom Development), Raymond Cron, hat sich entschieden die Gruppe per Ende Juni 2013 zu verlassen, um eine neue Herausforderung in einem anderen Unternehmen zu übernehmen.

Raymond Cron kam im Jahre 2008 zur Orascom Development und war bis Ende 2011 Head European Operations. In dieser Funktion betreute er die Entwicklungsprojekte in Andermatt, Montenegro und in Grossbritannien. Im Zuge der Neuausrichtung der Geschäftsleitung übernahm er anfangs 2012 die Rolle des COO.

Orascom Development bedauert den Entscheid von Raymond Cron und dankt ihm für sein grosses Engagement zu Gunsten der Gruppe. Für seine weitere Zukunft wünscht ihm Orascom Development alles Gute.

Über die Gruppe Orascom Development ist ein führender Entwickler von integrierten Ortschaften/Städten, die Hotels, Privatvillen, Wohnungen, Freizeiteinrichtungen wie etwa Golfplätze und Jachthäfen aber auch unterstützende Infrastruktur umfassen. Das breit diversifizierte Portfolio von Orascom Development umfasst Destinationen in neun Ländern (Ägypten, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate, Jordanien, Oman, Schweiz, Marokko, Montenegro, Grossbritannien und Rumänien). Die Gruppe betreibt momentan sechs Städte: El Gouna, Taba Heights und Haram City in Ägypten, The Cove in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und Jebel Sifah sowie Salalah Beach in Oman. Orascom Development verfügt über eine Doppelkotierung mit einem Primär-Kotierung im Hauptsegment an der SIX Swiss Exchange und einer Zweitkotierung an der EGX Egyptian Exchange.
